Smart Seat

The Smart Seat is the standard option, featuring supportive seating with durable, wipe-clean upholstery and a compact folding design that helps keep your staircase open when the lift is not in use. Optional powered upgrades include a powered swivel seat and powered folding footrest for even greater convenience.

Perch Seat

Designed for users with limited knee or hip flexibility, the Perch Seat allows you to travel in a comfortable semi-standing position rather than sitting fully. This option is ideal for individuals who have difficulty bending or transitioning into a seated position and supports users up to 300 lbs.

Outdoor Package

For exterior staircases, the Outdoor Seat features UV- and weather-protected materials with durable Slate upholstery designed to withstand moderate climates. This makes the Handicare 1000 an excellent solution for safely accessing decks, porches, garages, or outdoor entryways year-round. (Powered seat options are not available on outdoor models.)
